In the early hours of August 30, a 55-year-old man was injured after being hit by a motorcycle in Sitio Nasipit, Barangay Talamban, Cebu City. The victim, known only by the alias "Jiminay," suffered a head wound and swelling, and is believed to have been intoxicated at the time of the accident.
The motorcycle driver, identified as "Harry," 30, a resident of Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City, was transporting a passenger southward when the crash occurred. According to reports, "Jiminay" crossed the path of the motorcycle unexpectedly and then turned back, resulting in the collision.
The impact caused the victim to be thrown to the ground, while both the motorcycle driver and his passenger also sustained injuries. Further details on their conditions have not been disclosed.
