Malabon City Youth Leaders Recognized at 13th National Youth Parliament in Ilocos Sur
Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval has expressed profound pride in the city’s youth who participated in the 13th National Youth Parliament – National Assembly held in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
Calling it a significant achievement for Malabon in the field of youth leadership, Mayor Sandoval praised the selection of Malabon City youth representatives through the Malabon City Youth Development Unit.
The delegation included SK Chairpersons Christopher Cinco (Barangay Acacia), Kobe Allen Ortega (Barangay Panghulo), and Lady Ciane Cruz (Barangay Dampalit), alongside Dr. Jerico Joshua Kahulugan, Chief of the Malabon City Flagship Program Office. Also part of the team were Renz San Luis from Ahon Kabataan and Renan Gonzales representing the Rotaract Club of Malabon Pioneer.
From thousands of applicants nationwide, only 170 were chosen to participate, with Malabon’s youth earning their place due to their intelligence, diligence, and commitment to national initiatives, the mayor noted.
Mayor Sandoval extended her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for your excellence and dedication. Your honorable representation brings pride to our city and serves as an inspiration for more young Malabueños aspiring to serve and become agents of positive change."
