Contractor Sarah Discaya and DPWH Officials Detained Over Anomalous Flood Control Projects

The Department of Justice (DOJ), together with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), have formally detained contractor Sarah Discaya and several Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) officials implicated in anomalous flood control projects across key provinces.

Law enforcement authorities conducted coordinated arrest operations based on a DOJ-issued warrant. The operations were carried out with utmost transparency and respect for due process, ensuring that the accused were afforded their constitutional rights throughout the proceedings.
