Drunk Man Drowns After Falling Into Creek in Consolacion

A 34-year-old man identified as Angelo "Eloy" Arcilla tragically lost his life after falling into a creek in Barangay Jugan, Consolacion. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, November 23, 2025, in Sitio Laray.

According to the Consolacion Police Station investigation, Arcilla was reportedly heavily intoxicated when last seen on Saturday night. It is believed that while walking home, he stumbled and fell into the creek beneath a bridge.

Residents and neighbors later discovered his floating body and confirmed his death at the scene. Authorities have attributed the accident to his impaired state due to excessive alcohol consumption.

The police continue to remind the public about the dangers of excessive drinking, especially when traveling near hazardous areas.
