Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon Sworn In as Chair of Regional Peace and Order Council-NCR
Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon has formally taken his oath as the new chairperson of the Regional Peace and Order Council for the National Capital Region (NCR). In his acceptance speech, Mayor Biazon expressed gratitude to the Office of the President for entrusting him with this critical role.
"It is now official—I have sworn into my new position as Chairperson of the Regional Peace and Order Council-NCR," Biazon stated. He acknowledged the confidence placed in him and vowed to uphold the responsibilities of the office with diligence.
"We are thankful for the trust granted to us by the Office of the President," he remarked. Further emphasizing his commitment, Biazon described the appointment as a challenge to improve service,
"Beyond just overseeing the security of our fellow Muntinlupa residents, I see this as an opportunity to strengthen peace and order throughout the entire National Capital Region," he added.
With his new role, Mayor Biazon is expected to spearhead initiatives aimed at maintaining peace and addressing security concerns across the NCR, working closely with local government units and security agencies.
