Legazpi Mayor Commends Edouard Imperial Valenet for SEA Games Bronze Medal
Legazpi City Mayor Hisham Ismail has expressed his admiration for Edouard Imperial Valenet following the athlete's achievement of winning a bronze medal at the recent 33rd Southeast Asian Games held in Thailand.
In an official social media announcement, Mayor Ismail acknowledged Valenet’s significant role in the Men’s Team Table Tennis event, which brought honor not only to Legazpi but also to the entire nation. He said Valenet’s performance exemplified the talent and determination of Filipino athletes on the regional stage.
"Edouard Imperial Valenet has truly showcased the excellence of Filipino athletes at the Southeast Asian Games," the mayor remarked. "From Barangay Buraguis to the podium of Southeast Asia, he has made us all proud."
The mayor personally extended his congratulations and gratitude to Valenet for his contribution to the city’s and country’s sporting achievements. He encouraged the community to celebrate the success of their hometown athlete.
"Let us all celebrate the triumph of our fellow citizen! Long live the athlete of Legazpi," Ismail concluded.
